Oct. 28, 1858. By O- R- HUNTER, Ag’t,
I a Card from Dr. James M. Jar-
'RETT, OF THE NEW YORK LUNG INFIRMA
RY.—My connection for the past eight years with
the above Institution, as Chief Physician, and a
twelve years’ course of steady devotion to the cure
of Pulmonary Consumption and its kindred diseases,
together with my unrivalled opportunities and ad
vantage of pathological research—aided not a little
by a perfect system of Medical Iukalalion—has en
abled me to arrive at a decisive, direct, and success
ful course of treatment for the positive and radical
cure of all diseases of the Tknat, Lungs, and Air-
Passages. By inhalation, the vapor and curative
properties of medicines are directly addressed to the
diseased organs and tbe integument. I do not ad
vise the use of Medical Inhalation of any kind, to
the exclusion of general treatment; and although I
consider it a useful adjuvant in the proper manage
ment of those fearful and often fatal diseases, yeti
deem it very necessary that each patient should have
the benefit of both general and local treatment. The
success of my treatment in the above diseases, snd
tbe high character of the Institution over which II
have so long bad the honor to preside, are too well
known to need any eulogy or comment from me.—

I Then yon can't bo cured too soon. Don’t delay
antil your complaint is incurable, and then mourn
when it is too lata. Four fifths of all the diseases
which people tbe church yards, might be cured by
Ayer's Cathartic Pills, if taken in season. Don’t go
dragging through the Spring, faint, sleepy and list
less, because your blood Is loaded with bile. Don’t
wear tbe headache. Heartburn, and their kindred
disorders, because your stomach is fonl. Don’t pa

A WORD ABOUT THE
“CHEAP STYLE OF WORK.”
Persons needing Dental Operations or Artificial
Teeth, and not able to pay me my regular prices,
may feel assured that I will rather share my profits
with them than “accommodate” them with a cheap,
or inferior style of work, as such will never give sat
isfaction, and is the dearest at the end.
All persons desiring my services will please call at
my Residence, in Perry, where t hey will find all the
comforts ofa first-rate Dental Office. Families liv
ing at a distance may procure my services bygiving
me notice.
Dentists will find a large assortment of the best
materials, for tilling Teeth, as well as for making ar
