DOOLY ALL RIGHT 1 o.
Viexna, April £0.
Hon. E. G. Cdbanlss, Chairman, etc.:
Dear Sir—Wo have met the Radicals anl their
issues and completely routed them. I am net satis
fied with our poll ((gainst the Constitution. Oar
tickets were printed somo for and agaimt the
Constitution and blank upon that question, and
in tho hurry and excitement of a heated contest,
some of onr best men would occasionally forget
to write on their tickets against the Constitution.
There were some tickets voted with the “for*'
obliterated, and the blank thus obliterated not.
filled. This accounts for our majority against the
Constitution being reduced below that of Gordon’s
majority. We are, (that is, the whites,) almost
a unit in this connty against the Constitution.

J. E. Sneed, Esq. :
Dear Sir : Tho managers of the election hero
are not counting tho tickets this morning. They
are debating whether they shaii throw out tho
votes which were cast by unregistered persons,
which are 373 in number. If thoy shall be
thrown out the Democratic ticket will bo elected
by near 200 majority. - If not thrown out the
Radical ticket will have a small majority—
though that is not certain.
It is supposed there arc about 300 tickets yet
uncounted, if not moro than that number.—
Gordon may have a small majority if all aro
counted, as ho is now 296 ahead, and vill get a
few more of the votes yet to bo counted. The
exact result cannot be known until the count is
completed. X.
