TENNESSEE FARM FOR SALK
THE HOMESTEAD OF THE LATE
UON. ABRAHAM CARUTHERS.
834 ACRES OF LAND,
I N Smith Co., Tenn., lying on Coney Fork River, at
Trousdale’s Ferry, 7 miles south of Carthage. 20
miles east of Lebanon and 50 of Nashville, connected
with each by turnpike roads and river navigation.
This is one of the finest blue-grass farms in tho State,
one-half or more being the rich bottoms oftheCaney
Fork, and the remaining portion gradually rising
back, and all susceptible of cultivation, renders this
one of the very best stock, grain and tobacco farms
in the State. It is well watered by the river on one
side, Hickman Creek on another, and nine Springs on
different portions of theplace. It has four residences;
one of brick, one frame and two of logs—with neces-
saty outbuildings, and has been so subdivided that
they fall on separa te tracts. The Whole tract has been
divided into separate lots, ranging from 50 to 180 acres
and so situated that the whole or any less number
may be advantageously thrown into one. Tbe river
and creek line is entirely fenced and protec ed by a
fine Osage Orange Hedge. The railroad from Nash
ville to Knoxville crosses the Caney Fork near this
land—not exceeding a wile. Steamboats land upon
it in the winter and spring.
ALSO, 97 1-2 ACRES OP LAND,
Half a mile west of Lebanon, fronted by the Lebanon
and Nashville turnpike. This land will afford several
excellent settlements in a short distance of town. aDd
adjoining the grounds of Cumberland University. It
has never-failing water. We are authorized to sell

HURLEY’S SARSAPARILLA
O F ALL THE REMEDIES THAT HAVE BEEN
discovered during the present age for tho “thous
and ills that flesh is heir to,” none equal this wonder*
fal preparation. Only ten years have elapsed since
the discoverer (who spent a decade in studying ex
periments, and per'cctiugit) first introduced it to the
public, and it is already recognized by tho moat em
inent physicians in all parts of the country, to be the
most surprising and effective remedy for certain dis
eases of which they have knowledge.
AH other compounds or Syrups of this root hava
hitherto failed to command tho sanction of the Fac
ulty, because on being tested, they have been found to
contain noxiou3 ingredients, which neutralixe tho
good effects of the Sarsaparilla, and oftentimes injur*
the health of the patient. It is not so with Hurley’s
preparation.
This is tho pure and genuine extract of tbe root,
aud will, on trial, be found to effcctacertain and per
fect cure of the following complaints and diseases:
Affections of the Bones,
Habitual Costiveness,
Debility, Diseases of tho Kidneys,
Dyspepsia. Erysepilas,
