PACIFIC GUANO!
CAPITAL Si,OOO.OOO.
T HIS GUANO differs from Peruvian Guano, simply
in the relative proportions of tho samo element
of fertility.
Its use during the past four years for tho cultnre of
Cotton and Corn has given to it a character for stand
ard excellence unsurpassed by genuine Peruvian
Guano, and when seasons of drought intervene it pro
duces a larger inetoase of crops.
The price at which this GUANO is placed is so
much below that of Peruvian Guano as to constituto
it an object of material importance to Southern Agri
culture.
The large capital and resources of the Company en
ables it to famish a Guano of the highest value at tho
lowest possible cost to consumers, end the highest in

MESSRS, JONES, BAXTER & DAY,
Gestlemen : In reply to your inquiry, I take pleas
ure in saying my experience with the CHESAPEAKE
PHOSPHATE. I bought of you last spring, has [been
very favorable. I used (200) two hundred pounds
upon 00 three-fourths of an acre, third year’s new
ground, applying it in the drill, rows.tbrce feet apart,
sixteen inches in the drill, on which 1 had five thou
sand seven hundred stalks of cotton. From this, I
gathered (1321) eighteen hundred and twenty-four
pounds of cotton. The last of August, the werm com
mitted great ravages in it, destroying all of the late
crop. Had it not been for the worm I should have
made at least one-third more on tho land. I can cheer
fully recommend it to Planters as a Fertilizer for oob-
ton. Respectfully,

PURIFY YOUR BLOOD!
HURLEY’S SARSAPARILLA
O FALL THE REMEDIES THAT HAVE BEEN
discovered during the present age for tho “t joue-
and ilia that flesh is heir to,” none equal this wonder*
u W^P^ration. Only ten years have elapsed since
the discoverer (who spent a decade in studying ex~
pen men ts, ana perfecting it) first introduced it to the
public, and it is already recognized by the most em
inent physicians in all parts of the country, to be the
most surpri?ing and effective remedy for certain dis
eases of which they have knowledge.
All other compounds or Syrups of this root have
hitherto failed to cpmfiiand the sanction of the fac
ulty, because on being tested, they have been found to
contain noxious ingredients, which neutralize the
good effects of the Sarsaparilla, and oftentimes injure
the health of the patient. It is not so with Hurley'?
preparation.
This is the pure and genuine extract of the root,,
and will, on trial, be found to effect a certain and per
fect cure of the following complaints and diseases:
Affections of the Bones,
Habitual Costiveness,
Debility, Diseases of the Kidneys,
Dyspepsia, Eryscpiias,
