' went 7 to 10 pointe over yesterday's close
around the first cal. after which a sag carrteci

delivering about 4,000 bales against March con
tract* were issued. This was the first notice I

Selling increased as the session advanced un- I

| In the afternoon the market wsX weak and ■
' prices melted away under a constant fire of
i selling oninra. inspired by anxiety over the in
ternational political situation. At 1:30 the
market was 23 to 28 points under yesterday's
| close on the most active months and 32 to 38
points, or almost >2 a bale on the weakest
months, down from the higheirt of the day.
