FROM HAVANA.—A gentleman, just from
Havana, who does not wish his name to. be
known “to the Spanish thieves and assassins,"
informs us, that several acts ot piracy and mur
der, have recently taken place. A brig, it is
believed the Lima of Philadelphia, and one or
two other’vessels, had beeff carried into places
very near Havana, crewa beaten, stripped,
some murdered, and the goods, tackle, Uc.
