Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Re-
presentativos of the state of Georgia, in General
Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the
inthorlty of the same, That where any person or
persons have heretofore nad surveys made on
bead-rights, bounty warrants and grants thereon
have not been obtained, it shall and ntuy be law
ful for such person or persohs to apply for ami
obtain such grant or gtauts, ht any time pre
vious to the 25th of October, 1824; oil pttynneitt
if the usual fees. , , ■ .
Sec 2 And be it farther enacted by the au
thority aforesaid, Jlfat where any surveys have
heretofore been made on hend,rignU or bounty
warrants, and grants thereon haye not been ob
rained, such land shall not be, subject to h re ,
survey until three months from and after the
person or persons 1:110ming under the original,

of Camden, beifig ind- bled til one Henry Salle
or order in a note of hand, dated St. Alsi-ys 11
said county, on the 9fti October 1822, in the sun
of Five Hundred Dollars, payable with intert a;
from the date on the first day of January thei
next ensuing, did mortgage to the said Henry
his heirs and assigns, to secure the payment ol
the note aforesaid with interest on the same—a
certain lot ofland in the town aforesaid being,
part of lot No 1, hegining at the west corner ol
a tot belonging to'one Calvin Bayes, thence run-
niitg south 100 feet on St Marys Street, thenct
non’ 1 to Bryant St. thence east to C Hays’ fine,
thence south to the beginning, with the margin
attached to the same on the south side of S
Marys or Bay st. being a hundred feet on tht
street and running from thence directly to tht
river St Marys, together with all and singula,
every thing thereto apperiaining-that the saic
Henry Ssdler, to whom and to whose heirs ant
assigns the said mortgage Was made on the 26tl
of Sept 18 3, duly assigned by deed,said mori
gage to the petitioner, that there is now due or
said mortgage the sum of Five Hundred Dollar!
with interest from the 1st January 1822, and
praying for the forclusure of the equity of t-e-
demplion, in the said John Christopher, his
heirs and assigns in tlie mortgaged premises and

On motion ofBelton A Copp, attorney for pe-
titioner, it is ordered that the principal and in
terestdue on the said mortgage together with
the costs of his applicants be paid into this court
within twelve months from this hate, otherwise
that the equity of redt mnlion of the said John
Christopher his heirs executors, administrators
and assigns be from thence forever foieclosed
and that such other proceedings take place as
are pursuant tc the statute.

published in one of the Gazettes of this state at
