Anti Dyspeptic Pills.
PREPAREDLY H.j.vMKS, NEW WORK
I i»OU 20 years past the subscriber lias suffered
. contiimally. frotn a costive biioily which has
been a great pan of the time accompanied by
severe 'headach. He has made known his com*
plaint to several eminent physicians, wi,lltoui ex,
pcrienciiig ally benefit from their prescriptions-
Ih the month of December Inst, becoming seti
ousjy alarmed, by the regular hut constant in
crease of tile disorder, he was mduced to com*
metice the use offlte atjove named pills, Which
were highly recommended as a remedy in, jits
complaint.—He began to lake them with very
little confidence us to their efficacy, atul under
the expectation > that he should not be able to
•He them a fuir trial, as his stoniach, heretofore,
ad rejected .every kind of medicine Another
circumstance which taught him' to expect very
little benefit, was that he had found it necessary
4lv avs to !a(|e more titan un ordinary dose of
any cathartic, before it would produce the desir
ed effect. He, however, commenced taking two
of tire pills, as .directed, every evening for twen
ty days, without experiencing any considerable
inconvenience, or perceiving any benefit from
them. He was then directed to increase the
number, until Some degree of nausea was pro
duced; the dose was accordingly increased un
til he took six pilla every evening; they soon
began to act as a gentle and perfect laxative;
the dose Was diminished in the same gradual
manner in which it hid been increased, and it is
now forty days since a very obstinate and dis
ircsYntg complaint has yielded to this mild plan
of treigmeiit.
The subscriber does therefore, unsolicited,
most cheerfully recommend the anti-dispeptjo
pills to those i\ ho may have suffered like him-,
self; liiul lie avails himself of this method to as
sure them, that from no other treatment has he
experienced such perfect relief.
NAHUM NICE.
From the above certificate no doubts cun ex
ist tit the minds of the afflicted, us to the utility
and value of litis remedy. Many persons in tins
city and its vicinity have been relieved from dis
tressing dyspeptic sy mptoms by Us use. It is
not recommended as a cure, all but to those di
seases appertaining 'o dy speptic only.
