Branch. The mail between Charleston and Ham
burgh, goes direct through Purysburgh on those
days, both up und down. Separate portmanteaus
are provided for this purpose, nt the offices of
Charleston and Augusta, which meet each other
at Purysburgh and urc there shifted, the down lo
Charleston, the up to Augusta; this supercedes the
necessity of bringing that mail to Savannah at all,

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Re
presentatives of the state of Georgia, in General
Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the
authority of the same, That where any person or
persons’ have heretofore had surveys made on
head rights thereon have not been "obtained, it
shall and may he lawful for such person or per
sons to apply for and obtain such grant or grants,
time previous to the 25th of October,
