W HEREAS John W. Long ussignee of the un
derwritersnt Lloyds in London, in the
1 Kingdom of Great Britain, the supposed Insurers
of (he Ship Albion and cargo, has exhibited Ids
libel or complaint, in the District Court of the U-
nited States, fortbc District of Georgia; stating,
alleging and propounding, that the British Ship
Albion, laden with Mahogany, Logwood, and di
vers other articles, was, on the morning dflhe 16th
September last, by the force of the wind and
waves driven on the beach of Saint Catherines
i Island, in the District aforesaid, and there aban
doned by hercrew; and that much of the cargo
has floated out of the said Ship, some puitof which
Iihs been taken by George H. Johnston, Putriek
Houston and George M. Wnldburg, nnd by divers
other persons, to n place of greater safety, nnd
that pnrt theref still lies on tho beach of snid
Island, below high water mark exposed to tho sea
That the Agent ot the underwriters at Lloyds, un
der tlie impression that tho. said Ship and cargo
Ijverc.Uisured ot Lloyds, has for tho benefit of ull
1 concerned, sold the interest ot the said underwri
ters aforesaid, therein at publick sule to John W
Long. But the said persons, who have removed
a part of the cargo to a place of greater safety,
claim to be entitled to salvage thereon, and pray
ing process of tills court to take the said wreck
and the said cargo, or so much thereof, as is to ho
found within the jurisdiction of this Court, into
the custody of the Court for the benefit of the said
libellant, and all persons concerned, and prnyinf;

titled to salvage, to appear and establish such their
claims and also to all persons intercstedlo nppeur,

therefore, you the said Jlarshal, tiro hereby com
mended to attach, seize, take, add safety keep the
remains of the snid Ship Albion and her cargo,
(wheresoever within the jurisdiction of ibis Court,
or in tlie possession of whomsoever to bo found;'
to answer die snid libel, andiyou arc further com
manded to cite and admonish the said George,
Patrick, and George; and nll 'other persons, claim
ing to be entitled to salvage in this behalf to up-
pcorbefore this Court, and there establish such
their claim nnd further to cite and admonish all
and every person nnd persons, whomsoever hav
ing or pretending to have any right, title, interest,
property, claim or demand In, or to tlie said wreck
or to tlie cargo thereof, to be, and appear at n spe-

Sec. 10, And he it further ordained, That every
house within the limits and Jurisdiction of tills
I’ily, occupjeil and tenanted, shall be supplied
with buckets at tlie expense of the owners of
said premises, to the number of at least the num
ber of five-placps in the same, including such as
are in tlie outbuildings, and the said buckctsshnll
be equal in goodness und size to those procured
for tlie use of the City,and paihted.on which shall
bo painted In visible characters the name of the
owners of said buckets •, ar.d In case tlip owner of
any house or tenement should refuse or neglect
to liiivc the said buckets supplied agreeably to
thls i ordinance, it shall and mny be lawinl for the
tenant to procure the same, deducting it out of

Sec. 11 And he it further orduined, That the
owner of every improved wharf shall furnish
twenty buoints for the building or buildings on
such wlinrf, nnd deliver them to Managers nnd
Assistants of the Engines, oil or before tlie second
meeting of Council in Julv next; and tho receipt
of any Manager or Assistant, for such buckets,
shall bo deemed 11 full compliance with this sec
tion, by the owner, for tlie number of buckets
mentioned in said receipt; And. the owner of
every store in tlie City, that lins no fire-place or
places nltuchcd to the same,shall furnish two fire-
buckets for every store of such kind, and under
such regulations as other Uuidlords arc by this or
dinance required to do.

owner of a Wooden house, or houses, brick, or
stone house,or houses covered with wood,occupi

This undertaking is not of course intended to
substitute or supercede the Reports of Debates for
the National Intelligencer, but rather, by with
drawing tho heavy und extended Reports from its

to furhisli, every day, hi a comprehensive form,
