the second day of Fcbrunpy Eighteen hundred
and twenty, by Mary Motta t payable two yfenrs af
ter date lo Edmund Warren, or order, and upon
which note the said Edmund had made a guaran
tee in these words; “ I guarantee the payment of
the within note to the time stated.” Signed Ed
mund Warren, “and which note was by the said
Edmund delivered to the petitioner. It appear
ing to tho Court that the said note has been lost
and cannot be found and that a copy of said note
as near hs can be recollected together with evi
dence of its existence and loss is filed in the office
ot its Clerk.
On Motion of Law k Jackson, it is ordered
that any ami all persons interested do shew
cause on or before the next term of this Court
why tho prayer of the petitioner for the Establish
ment of the said note should not be granted, and
that this rule bo-published in one of the public Ga

assigned to keep the Peace for the county
and state aforesaid. Came Peter Durir.ger, who
made oath in writing that he seized and took a-
way from a slave, known by the name of Jack
Moore, and said to belong to one -Sam) Hale, of
Augusta, the following articles to wit. One Flat,
a wooded shed building on a lot, belonging to
Mr. Josoph Stiles Situated in Yammacraw, also
one small Stove and pipe, four Iron bound Kegs,
an ullage keg ol ^Tobacco, two pair of Beales,
two Axes, five Jugs, four Iron Pots, one Dimmi-
jon,oneboxoi Rosin, owe trunk with Dry Goods,
one pair of Stiliards, one barrel of Cow peas, one
writing desk, and several other small articles;
