T HE Subscriber has taken qliargo of,
and will kcop under Ids own direc
tion, the warehouse first bitill by himself,
oud by an Act of the Legislatoro of 1821,
intended to bo a public waieliouie, in
Hamburg, for the storage of coitun and
tobacco.—A tobacco inspection to bo kept
therein. This warehouse, for convenience
and safety from fire, if not superior, is in
ferior in none in this part ol tho country*—
It is 300 feet in length and 00 feet in width,
with a plank floor—situated in the centre
of the town, oil the bank of (lie Savannah
River, nnd within 100 feet ol the stream.
The other tlireo sides are bounded by
streets, one of 160 feet,one of 100 feet,and
one of BO leet. Two platforms will ex
tend from tlio warehouse to the river ? so
that cotton will be put on boats without
couching tho ground, except w hen the riv
er is very low.
