T HE Subscriber has taken charge of,
and will keep under ids own dtroc-
tldn, the warehouse first built by himself,
and by an Act of tlio Legislature of 1831,
intended to bo a public waiehouse, in
Hamburg, for tlio storage of cotton and
tobaoco.—A tobacco inspection to be kept
therein. Tills warehouse, fur convenience
and safety from fire, if not supetlor, • is in
ferior to none In this part of the country—
It Is 300 feet in length and 50 feet in width,
with a plank floor—situated in ilia centra
of the town, on tile bgnk of the Savannah
River, and within 100 fiset ol tho stream.
1 he other three sides are bounded bv
streets, one of ISO feehone of 100 feet,and
bne of 80 teet. Two platforms will ex
tend from the warehouse to the river t so
that cotton will be nut on boats without
touching the ground, except trhetithe til
