tobacco.—A lobni.cn inspection to ho kept
therein. R’liis warehouse, for convenience
and safety from fire, if not superior, Is in
ferior to nono in tills part ol the country—
It is 300 feet in length and 50 feet in width,
with a plnnlt floor—situated in the centre
of the town, on tho hank nf tho Savannah
River, and within 100 feet of tho stream.

and Aldermen of the city of Savannah
and Hamlets thereof, in enuncil assembled,

the same, That it shall he the duty of the
city tnirshnl and ritv constables, or cither
of them, to seize as forfeited tn the use
of flic rity, nil articles which may he expo
sed for sale hv venders of small wares
throughout the city, wilhout the pioprr li
cense, mid the person so vending, shall hy
the mayor nr either of the aldeimen h'-

ment of three dollars, together with all
