The Angler Flak.
The angler fish angles for his prey.
From the upper part of his head project
two long tentacles, with ileshy extrem
ities. which wave about In the water
and attract small fish, that, approach
ing and attempting to seize the sup
posed halt, are themselves captured by
the angler. Without this device to at

All old-time Cough Syrups bind the
bowels. Tills is wrong. A new Idea
was advanced two years ago In Ken
nedy's Laxative Honey and Tar. This
remedy acts on the mucous mem
branes of the throat and lungs and
loosens the bowels at the same time.
It expels all cold from the system. It
clears the throat, strengthens the mu

The Soap that Hakes
Yoa Pretty.
The OWL said, with a smile so bland,
Of the cake of soap in his outstretched hand,
“This Is COLD CREAM, the leading brand,
The Boap that makes you pretty. ”
Mamma said to baby Fred,
‘ ‘Wash’im first and then to bed,' ’
“Use COLD CREAM Soap on me,” he sn.id-
“The soap that makes you pretty.” —
The maiden asked.the little OWL
“What soap 1b the best? I know you know.”
One hand on his manly heart, and bowing low “COLDCREAM,”
he said,
“The soap that makes you pretty.-”
Oh, see the dnde—his cheeks aglow,
And his little hands as white as snow,
He used COLD CREAM Soap to make them so—
"The soap that makes you pretty.”
