Mrs. Dr. Worsham, of Knoxville,

We learn that a large crowd was
out at WoocMawn last Saturday to

W A Humphries, the superin¬
tending mechanic of the court

can't be changed.
Mrs. Col. Heartsill has from her
garden on exhibition the champi¬
on bee l of the season, weighing
about five pounds.
If the rains continue a few
weeks longer, the corn crop will
be much better than was anticipa¬
ted some time ago.
Some pretended ku klux were
on the rampage among the African
descendants last Saturday night.
This business ought to be stopped.
Mr. Mack Cannon, of Dalton,
goes to New York this week for
the purpose of buying a large stock
of goods. We will give prices in a

advertisments in the past compel
us to announce that fees must be
paid in advance. And constables
making levies and returning to the
sheriff will please remember that
the fee must be paid before the
advertising will be done. Tnis
means business.
