The Effect of Sleeping in Cars
Is the contracting of cold, which
often results seriously to tbe lungs.
Never neglect a cold, but take in
time Taylor’s Cherokee Remedy of
Sweet Gum and Mullein—nature’s
great cough medicine.

TO Tbe Public:
I understml that the House
pl representatives passed a res
olution requiring the lessees of
tl,e ir MA f , d R * to gwe • . an add.- i i
tional bona of one million ool
lars, within 20 days from the
passage of the resolution, and
in failure to do so, the Govern
or is required to take charge of
the rail road leased by the les
sees.
What does this resolution
mean?
In the face of the lease act as
piovided by what is known in
common parlance, but that the
State cannot in ny event loose
more than twenty five thousand
dollars, provided the Governor
does his duty as the Executor
of the State of Georgia; aud 1
venture the assertion that he
will do his duty.
ihe lease act requires the
lessees pay monthly $25,000
and on failing to do this the
Governor is to take charge ol
the road a id run it.
I must be pardoned tor say¬
ing, that it is a fixed up job to
greese a half dozen or more big
fat lawyers—little ones are not
in it. W. Ltjfman.
