Dr. W H Murdoch, proprietor ol
the Murdoch Hotel at Dalton has
sold his lease to a Mr. Logan of
Pennsylvania who will take charge
some time in the early future.

Times, the man who borrowed his
meat from his smoke-house one
night recently, to please return the
hams and get side meat as be is a
little dyspeptic and cant eat side
meat.
The new methodist church iD the
Bail Ground District will be ready

fence question will come before

A number of the Spring Place

trying to discover the proper loser
of a horse that had died in that vi¬
cinity.

On last Monday night, the wild
fire was discovered near the house
