pose of locating a jail and jail¬
or’s bouse, provided the other
members of the board will tu
dorse his action. A more
suitable site could not be had
in the incorporate limits. It
is convenient to the court house
arid is located so the jail can
have the proper cleansing fa¬
cilities.
The price of the property is
reasonable, and when a good
brick jail, with the modern
cells placed m it, is completed,
will add greatly to the appear¬
ance of the town and be some¬
thing that the county can be
proud of besides the more im¬
portant thiuo. the viola¬
tors of the law can be

as the statute provides.
