Baily of near town, are the recipients of a fine girl at their house. The past two weeks have been elegant on the farmer. Most of them are up with their work. You will find that in S. T. Fincher's stock, quantity tells and price sells. Those who do not take their county paper, should not be getting ashy because they fail to get a local puff in every issue. Auctioneers have quit Spring Place. Why? Because S. T. Fincher beats them on prices. Some of the census enumer¬ ators seem to regret that were the favored ones the many applicants, in receiv¬ ing appointments. Their task is a hard one, and when they sit down in the blazingj sun in mid plantation and propound several hundred questions to a dull man, who will take his time m answering will earn the little mite he gets per head.
