!ar PLOW STOCK for he counties ot Kiciimond,
( 1 11 tibia, Lincoln, Burke, Jefferson, Washington,
Striven amt hmauuel, are prepared to furnish it to
I’l an ter.-i at the Manufacturer’s jirice. This stock,
which is made entirely of wrought iron, is a South
.i n invention ; and lias been sufficiently tested by
the most practical and successful planters in the
country, as numerous certificates in our possession
will show, to prove that, when provided with suita
ble.-hare-., it runs more steadily, breaks and pul
verizes the soil more thoroughly, clogs less in roimh
is more easily adjusted for deep or shallow
plowing holds the shares more firmly, lasts incom
parably longer, and is, in the end, far cheaper than
any other stock now in use.
In the November number of the Southern Culti
vator, p. 34 „ the editor of that work, says: “ After
.mug this Plow a fair and impartial trial, we can
mm say that we regard it as a most valuable im
provement on all common wooden implements of
the kind now in u-:. For general efficiency and
convenience, as well as special adaptation to deep
'•"'Ojc or Ku.ovttlinn, we know of nothing that sur
passes it;.while on the score of economy and iiu-rw
"rfity, it is altogether unrivalled. No Plow with
which we are acquainted is so well calculated to
resist- the cureless and destructive usage of planta
: ,n negroes, mid we doubt not that its general in
oduction would be of very great pecuniary benefit
.■the planting interests of the South. Such is the
opinion of the editor of the Cultivator, and such is
the opinion of all who, like him, have given the
pi a fair and impartial trial. This stock is
adapted to six different points or shares, including
every variety which a planter will need from the
••■•ginning to the end of the year. These shares
will he turni -lied with the stock when desired,
though any plantation South can make them after
ace seeing th an. The stock is the only part of
the plow patented.
Circulars, containing certificates, and a more
minute description of the Plow, may be obtained
by application.
Rights for counties, shops or plantations, will be
- Id on reasonable terms. Apply at the Hardware
stores in Augusta, or address

XUIE undersigned having permanently located

passed by any similar Institution in the State. To
parents, therefore, designing to give their sons a

tendered, since a thorough acquaintance with the
