1. THE COLUMBIAN CENTINEL
will be publi shed ev ery satitrd a y, on
a tlemi paper, of an excellent quality,
and on ah entire new type, of Which
this is a specimen.
2. The terms of subscription will be
three dollars per annum, one half
to be paid at the time of subscribing,
and the balance at the expiration of
the year.
3. No subscription will be received for
a less term than six months, and ail
subscribers papers will be continued
from year to year, unless ordered to
the reverse at the expiration of the
year, or six months.
4. Advertisements will be charged
sixty-three cents per square for the
first publication, and forty-two for
each succeeding, and in the same
proportion for those of greater length.
Tht following persons have subscrip
tion papers in their hands for the accom
modation of fiersofts who may please to
subscribe, and they are duly authorised to
receive the same.

acres—five hundred acres of which is
prime tc?iablc land, one hundred acres
of which is under good improvement;
a peach orchard containing twelve or
fourteen hundred bearing peach trees ;
a good gardeen ; a convenient two story
dwelling house,and suitable out houses;
twelve stables, all separate and conve
nient, which will hold from two to six
horseseach,w\than excellent well of wa
ter in tiie yard. This plantation contains
one of the Cherokee Ponds—lt bounds
on the road leading from Augusta to
Columbia, and the Five Notched road
leads by the house which is now occupi
ed by the subscriber as a tavern. The
situation is healthy Sc pleasant as a seat
of retirement, and as a tavern inferior
