Kidney trouble preys'upon the mind: dis-

disappear when the kid

or diseased.
Kidney trouble has
become so prevalent
that It Is not uncommon
for a child to be born
afflicted with weak kid
neys. If the child urin
ates loo often. If the
urine scalds the flesh or if, when the child
reaches an age when It should be able to
control the passage, It Is yet afflicted with
bed-wetting, depend upon It, the cause of
the difficulty is kidney trouble, and the first
step should be towards the treatment of
these Important organs. This unpleasant
trouble Is due to a diseased condition of tho
kidneys and bladder and not to a habit as
most people suppose.
Women as v/ell as men are made mis
erable with kidney and bladder trouble,
and both need the same great remedy.

THE CORN SHREDDER
OF TI1E CEDAR. VALLEY FARM
ERS’ CLUB.
A Paying Investment mill it Big
Success—Wlint It Is Now
Doing.
The members ot the Cedar Valley
Farmers’ Club bought a oorn shredder
this summer, and the machine is being
run now by Mr. John J. Green.
It Is doing a wonderful work for
the hay crop of the vnlley, nnd is
destined to revolutionize the old
methods of our farmerq in raising a
supply of forage, Instead of throw
ing away the oorn stalk, and failing
tu utilize fully the ehbok and fodder,
the shredder shucks the oorn, and
oonverts into excellent hay the entire
stalk. Tile produot is n fine forage
for all stock, nnd in rated next to
olover and the grasses.
The market value now of suoli hay
is $10 per ton.
The machine lias been this week on
tho farm of Mr. D. A. Whitehead in
Collard Valley, nnd has shredded
about 75 aoree of corn. About 000
hales of hay have been turned out
there, making about 00 tone of splen
did forage valued at $000,
Mr. Richard Gammon has had 80
acres shredded, and the shredder will
oome tomorrow to Oapt. J. A. Peek’s
farm for.about 30 aores of oorn.
Quite a number in Cedar Vnlley
have forage crops ranging all the way
from 25 to 40 aores to be shredded, and
the new method of raising liny hns
among Us advocates suoli well known
farmers as Messrs. J. U. Phillips, C. A.
Wood.G. II. Wade, Aleok Hamilton,
L. 11. Poole, John Hutohings, Lawson
& Prewett, Dr. Win. Bradford, nnd
others. Mr. A. E. Young hns a shred
der of his own, and hns been n strong
believer In Us worth nnd utility for
two or three years.
Several bales of shredded hay are
now on exhibition at the store of Mr.
John C. Hand in Cedartown, and all
olir farmers who know notbiugof Its
value nnd importance to this county
should call and examine thoroughly
this great produot of our farms, which
hns heretofore been considered worth
less here as a good stuff for oattle.
