tained at a “Hallowe’en Party” Wed
nesday evening complimentary to
Mrs. O. L. Trlppe and Miss Harriet
Edwards. The house was beautifully
deoorated in white.and green, crysau-
themums being the dowers used.
As each guest arrived his or her drst
photo was presented to the hostess
and much fun was derived from the
guessing contest. Another feature of
the evening was each one’s fortune in
matrimony was revealed by Baucers
tilled with magic powders. Delight
ful refreshments were served, and
around the table apples were suspen
ded and lots of fun was caused by the
attempted biting of the fruit. All
kinds of Hallowe’en games were
played, which made the evening a de
lightful one to the large number of
guests.
The farmers are planting more than
