their associates and successors, to be
come incorporated as a Religious So
ciety,under the name and style of “East
View Baptist Church.”
2d, The term for which petitioners ask
to become incorporated is twenty years,
with the privilege of renewal at the end
of that time.
3d. The sole object and purpose of tbe
proposed Church is to promote the oause
of Christian Religion.
4th, That said ohurch has been estab
lished in East View, Cedartown, said
state and couuty, end your petitioners
and their associates and successors in
office desire to be incorporated with
corporate authority to enforce good
order, receive donations in money or
property, personal or real; make pur
chases and alienations ot real and per
sonal property, not for the purpose of
trade and profit but for the purpose of
promoting the general design and look
ing after the general interest of said
church; to sue and be sued, contract
and be contracted with, and do all other
things necessary to carry out tho pqr
poses of said church.
Wherefore, Petitioners pray, for them
solves, thnir associates and successors, to
be made a body corporate aiid politic,
with all the rights, privileges, immuni
