SUMMER’S
TERROR.—^
It isn't the discomfort from
heat. It is the danger to your
children from bowel disorders
induced by eating unripe fruit
or drinking iced water. For
that matter, children are not
the only ones who suffer.
To check summer complaint
and diarrhoea use Curry’s
Diarrhoea and Dysentery Spe
cific. It is agreeably spiced
and prompt in effect. It’s
strong enough for grown folks,
but not so ugly that you have
to bribe a child to take it.

IN MEMORY OK MRS, SIMS.
At n called meeting of the Fort

Mrs. R. O. Pitts anil Mrs. H. I,. Sewell
were appointed to draft resolutions
expressive of tho nppreoiatlon of the
loss sustained by the Club in the dentil
of the late Mrs. R. F. Sims. While
this is done liy loving lmiids ami hearts,
words but poorly represent the loss to
the Club of stioli a brilliant ornament.
It is sad beyond expression to speak of
Mrs. Sims ns dead—so young, bo much
to live for,,and needed by loved ones
and friends.
Her untimely death is sad, and
touches our Hearts, most sorely. It is
truly one of God’s mysterious pruvi-
donces. Strqng within us Is the wish
that Blie oould have been spared to her
ohuroli, her town, to hnsbnnd and
children, and to ns her friends, but not
so. She is gone
“To that fair land, upon whoso strand
■No wind ot wintor moans.”
We shall miss her from our meetings
molded by nature as she was, broad
minded, unselfish and generous, of
marked intellectuality, a very central
figure in every social gathering.
Resolved, 1st, That in tile dentil of
Mrs. Sims the Fortnightly Oltib 1ms
lust one of its most prominent and
honored members, whose memory we
will ever hold snored.
2d, We most tenderly oommend to
our Heavenly Fntlier the loved ones
about her hearthstone.
Wo deeply deplore onr loss, but bow
in submission to the Judgu uf nil the
earth, Who makes no mistake.
3d, That a copy of these resolutions
be furnished tho family, also Tiro
Standard for publication.
