BROWNINGS BRIEFS. The freeze and frost visited this section Saturday night, and we feur nipped all of the fruit crop. Little Miss Willie Belle Alexander, who has been ill for several days with pneumonia, is improving. Messrs. George Mainer and W. Me Breyer attended preaching at Maple Springs church Saturday and Sunday. Mr. Frank Brown, of near Holly Springs, spent Snturday night with relatives here. Mr. P. B. Copeland, of Home, has gone Into the saw mill business with Mr. N. V. Paris at this place. Prof. Dixie Jones, our good singer, is very 111 and not expected to live long. Mr. Gus Wallace was in Rock- mart on business Monday. Several from tills place are expell ing to attend the entertainment at Fish Friday night. Reader. Whitt Our Reporter Saw in New York.
