THAT MILL SCHOOL. Considerable has already hern said of the needs of the work *ln Cedar- town. .still we feel more must he said, 1 that the people may come to realize and see the need sufficiently to lend a helping hand to those who have long been neglected In the way of educa tion. Miss Hays and her co-workers in the mill district are finding many who are eager and hungry for an oppor tunity to learn. We would solicit the co-operation of the citizens, the bus iness men, the churches and all kind- hearted ones who have had and enjoy the benefits and advantages of educa tion. which for various reasons have been denied to others, perhaps not less worthy though less favored. We have plans for a day school and kindergarten; also, an evening school for those who work during the day. The empty Wahneta Mill building has been secured by the kindness of the owners for use In meetings, Sun day School and the day school. Two teachers are expected to urrlve soon to begin the school, who have had experience in this line of work with success. We appeal to all friends and well wishers to render whatever assistance they may. We wish to secure at least, twenty- five dollars per month toward paying the teachers from the people of the town. Some seats for the school room have kindly been furnished by the Cedar- town Cotton and Export Co., but more will be needed as our faith claims larger things. Lamps, a blackboard and some other things are also needed. Who will helf? We feel confident that many are in terested in this work, and will freely make their donations, and those who pray will also ask a blessing to rest upon it.
