Harris returned Thurs day evening from attendance at the State Underwriters’ Association in Macon and a successful trip to several South Georgia towns in the interest of the new Georgia Fire Insurance Co., which he is organizing. Mrs. Harris, who has been spending a couple of weeks in Atlanta, returned with him. Mr. W. D. Ivey has resigned his position as superintentent of the Water and Light plant to accept a position with the Ft. Wayne Electric Co. as their construction superintendent. Mr. Ivey is a graduate of the State Tech nological School of Atlanta, and hah been in charge of the Cedartown plant for over two years, and his many friends here regret that his new du ties will take him elsewhere.
