Bridges are four clever citizens of this vicinity who are interested in the recovery of a big estate in Ger many, slid arc* greatly encouraged by the publication of the following in a North Carolina paper: — Some of the heirs of Louis Fisher have seen Mr. McCall, the attorney whom they sent to Germany to look after the Fisher estate, and are great ly elated over his report. He em ployed lawyers in Hamburg, Germany, to start proceedings at once to show that the heirs of Louis Fisher are the proper and legal heirs to the estate. Mr. McCall made a very satisfactory contract with lawers there who are to collect the estato for a certain per cent. I am coupling a genealogical list of names of the Fisher family of this j country, and all who are Interested in this large estate and are willing to help bear the expenses of working it ap will be on this list and go In on our claim on this estate. The Fisher name who left this property has not yet been learned pos itively, and of course w*e will have to connect Lewis Fisher of this country with the Fisher who left the es tate In Germany. ^ After 14 years of hard work makes some of us exceedingly anxious to have this Fisher matter settled up at once, which can he done now if all who are interested will do their duty. Then, too, we have an Ice plant, whose product is especially useful for keeping cool that which made Milwaukee famous, besides other industries and enterprises of which we are Justly proud. And I could not bring myself to stop without sing ing the praises of the wide-awake men and noble women who have built and make up t our town—the biggest- hearted and best people on earth! But I am going to do better than this. Instead of telling you about these things, we are going to take it for granted that you are ‘from Missouri,’ . and we will ‘show you.’ * It is the same way with the wel come that Cedartown extends you. I am not going to talk about it, but we will try to make you see and feel Its depth and sincerity. To our visitors from Alabama I wish to ex tend a special greeting, for 1 am from Alabama myself. "Alabama,” you know, means, "Here we rest,” and I rested there for several years, and then came over here and went to work.
