This system will save useless expense to candi dates, and will enable them to know definitely in June whether they will be admitted to the School of Technol ogy in the following September. This plan has bene worked with great suc cess in the Northern and Western states, and will doubtless be appre ciated by young men in Georgia. Notice of Local Legislation. Notice is hereby given that a bill will be introduced at the next ses sion of the General Assembly of Geor gia, the caption of which will be as follows:—A Bill to be Entitled, An Act to amend an Act approved De cember 13th, 1396, incorporating the City of Cedartown, in the county of Polk, by repealing Section 14 of said Act, and enacting in lieu thereof the following: Be it further enacted, That the incorporate limits of said City of Cedartown shall extend one mile iu every direction from the center of Main street where the same is Inter sected by the center of West Avenue. On May 13th the angel of death visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Knighten and took from the! their little sixteen months old son, Richard Franklin. He was sick with measles and pneumonia set in, which ended in death. The remains were taken to New Harmony the 14th for interment.
