At the meeting of the City School Board last Thursday the election of Grammar and Primary teachers was deferred until the evening of the 20th inst. The selection of teachers is In the hands of Prof. J. E. Purks, the newly elected Superintendent, and he asked for more time in which to in vestigate. He announced that he had secured the services of two high ly efficient teachers: Miss Cora An thony of Jonesboro, and Miss Delia Neal of Commerce. As stated last week, the .
