Lester and son, Clinton, left Monday for a few weeks visit among relatives at Dallas. Mr. P. B. Copeland, the sawyer for the Parris A Copeland Lumber Co., was badly injured by the running saw Tuesday. We hope for him a speedy recovery. Mr. Reuben Roy, from Haralson,was in our midst Sunday. The school at this place, which is being taught by Mr. \V. I). Wood and Miss Lucy Parris, is progressing nicely with a large attendance, ami is muci pleased to consider an invitation from Mr. Lovvorn to meet with their neigh boring schools at the Hightower Falls. This school accepts the invitation, and the teachers, pupils and patrons are looking forward for this to be a pl**as ant and profitable day. The spacious veranda, with its trailing Virginia creeper, and with rugs and downy pillows and the over-popular "cosy corner,” makes an Ideal place for entertaining, and on this evening, with its sort lights and girls in their pretty airy dresses,made a most charming scene.
