By an act of the General Assem bly of Georgia at Its recent session, the sale of opium and all preparations containing as much of It as four grains to the ounce, (which Includes laudanum,) of chloral, of cocaine, of eucaine and several other drugs of dangerous properties, Is prohibited, under heavy penaltLs, except when prescribed by a licensed physician and dispensed by a licensed druggist.
