In debt there is always some body 'who can give him a twist. Is this all we must do? No! For even with all this accomplished, If the speculators get the bankers to lock up our money like they did this year, there will be trouble a plenty In the land. We must have our warehouse so well organized, by another crop, that when the pirates lock up our money wc can Issue u col t on money of our own. A* plan of this kind was originated Polk county this year. In por tions of Alabama and Texas It was adopud and worked splendidly. But for the opposition of some parties Polk county would have adopted this lilan;strath would have been relieved; ftrnterB could have held their cot ton and still have paid their debts, merchants could have sold their goods, and everybody \fouhl have been In much better shape. In fact, no saue argument can be brought against such a plan—nothing but flimsy pretext and pure rot. Win!
