K. Da vis; present—Commissioner E. E. Willingham and Commissioner P. A. Redmond. The minutes of last meeting were read and approved. Resolutions rend nnd adopted as follows; Resolved, that the Collard Valley road from where it intersects with the road leading up to Frank West’s house be discontinued from there n- eioss the slough over to the Popham place where the new road intersects the old Collard Valley road, and that the new road from Frank West’s house be adopted and established ns a public road in lieu of that part of the Collard Valley road which is here by discontinued. Resolved, thut the old road cast of the Simmons place be nnd is hereby discontinued from near the Simmons house to where is is interested by the new road on the Dooley place, and that the new road from there back up to southeast of the Simmons home be established as a public road in lieu of that part of the road discontinued. Resolved, that the old road in front of Elbert Powell’s house and just east of his house be discontinued from where it is intersected north nnd south of his house by the new road, nnd thut the new road be established us a public road In lieu of that part of the road discontinued. An interesting event of Monday evening was the marriage of Miss Josephine Elizabeth Cornelius and Mr. Harold Webb, which was solemn ized nt the home of Mr. and Mrs. Luther Pettit, where the bride has made her homo for several months. The house was decorated with snu- lux, sweet peas, and many lovely pink roses. Miss Mildred Byers played the wedding march, and the bride and groom entered the living room to gether, where the ceremony was per formed by Rev. L. E. Dutton before an improvised altar of ferns, smilox nnd roses. The bride wore n pretty gown of blue canton crepe, with a becoming hnt of blue, trimmed with flowers, and her bouquet was of bride’s rosea and swansonia. Immediately after the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Webb left for a short wedding trip, and upon their return will be nt home in , an apartment with II. S. Hull. The bride is the daughter of Mr. nnd Mrs. M. M. Cornelius, of Cedar town, and has been stenographer for the Cartersville Mills for the past year. She has many friends here who will be glad that her marriage will not take her away from Cartersville. Mr. Webb is a member of the firm of Gilreath-Webb Drug Co., and is one of the most popular business men in the city.—Cartersville News. ANTIOCH NEWS.
