Bone visited Mr. and Mrs. George T. Rowe in Savannah on Sun. While in Savannah they visited the nuclear ship, Savannah. Miss Betty Jo Hammack re turned with them. Mrs. Jackie May, Mary, Connie, and Vicki, of Columbia S. C. were guests of their aunts, Misses Berta; Irene, and Emily Perkins. Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Anglin of Atlanta, Mr. anf Mrs. Ju lian Anglin of Atlanta, Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Pilcher of Bruns wick, Mrs. Dick Brown and Adair of Brunswick, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Byrd and family of Reynolds, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Anglin and Mrs. W. A. Anglin had a family picnic dinner at McCants Mill. Mrs. W. A. Ang lin celebrated her birthday re cently. Mr. Fred Adams will leave this weekend by plane for San Francisco, Calif, where he will spend 15 days in advanced salesmanship training for Gay lord Container, Crown Zeller- back Corp. Mrs. Eppie Arnold is visit ing her sister in Florida while on a medical leave of absence from the Health Department. Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Byrd spent Tues. with Mrs.LathanWaters. Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Waters, Columbus; Cecil Waters and Miss Sandra Waters of Jack sonville, Fla. spent the week end with Mrs. Lathan Waters. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Neisler, Misses Wilhelmina and Marie Neisler will spend the weekend in Nashville, Tenn. Wilhelmina will attend Trevecca Nazarene College in that city. Mr. and Mrs. Herb Stewart and Guinn Stewart spent the holidays with Mrs. A. E. Guinn and family. It’s always good to see signs of progress everywhere especi ally in our county. We note that the interior of the Nazarene Parsonage has been decorated and made ready for the arrival of the new pastor on Sept. 10, 1962. Rev. and Mrs. Bert Wheeler were dinner guests of Misses Mary E. and Janie Neisler on Tuesday before leaving for White Springs, Fla. where they have accepted the pastorate of the CampGroundChurch for an other year. Larry Almgren who is work ing in Albany and attending col lege was the honor guest at a cook out supper by the members of the Nazarene Church at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Boh- ler Monday evening. Mrs. Nattie Allen (Edna Trapp) is critically ill at her home in Statesboro, Georgia, with brain cancer. (This note came from her husband. Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Foster and Kel of Griffin spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. James Brown. Mike and Keith Brady ofWar- ner Robins spent the weekend with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. O. M. Martin, while their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Brady, were visiting in Waycross. Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Martin and Mrs. Beve Harris attended the Harris reunion at Juniper Sunday. Mrs. Harris returned to her home at Box Springs in the afternoon. Friends of Mrs. H. A. Sealy will regret to learn of the critical illness of her sister, Mrs. j. W. Forrester of At lanta. Mrs. Earl Yantis and Cathy of Ocalo, Fla. spent the week end with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. W. Culverhouse. Mrs. Culverhouse and Mrs. Yantis attended the funeral of Dr. C. M. Williams Jr. in Columbus. Others attending the funeral in cluded Mrs, Joe Brown, Mrs. O. M. Martin and Mrs. Lewis Wat son Jr. Mr. and Mrs. John Clark and children spent the weekend in Forest Park with Mr. and Mrs. Milton Edmonson. Mrs. R. L. Brown spent the week in Eufaula, Ala. with her daughter, Mrs. A. F. Fain Jr. and Mrs. Fain. RUPERT Mrs. D. M. Harris Mr. Bob Albritton is criti cally ill in the Montezuma Hos pital. Mrs. David McChargue has returned to her home in Hous ton, Tex. after spending a week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Hurst. Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Hartley of Huntsville, Ala. spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Z. R. McCorkle. The Jim Cooper family met in the home of Misses Lenora and Corene Cooper on Sun. for the Cooper reunion. The Upatoi Association will meet Sept. 7-8 and 9 at Mt. Nebo Primitive BaptistChurch. Everyone is extended a cordial invitation. The Rupert H. D. Club ladies will serve a cold plate at lunch at the courthouse on election day. They will also have sand- whiches, cake and pie. Rev. Clarence Drummond filled his first appointment at Lebanon Baptist Church Sun. He and Mrs. Drummond were guests of Mr. and Mrs. D. W. Harris. Mrs. Archie Gordon and sons of Roanoke, Va. visited her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Hurst. Mrs. Ollie Jernigan, Mr. and Mrs. Chapman of Daytona Beach, Fla. visited Mrs. Mazie Harvey last week.
