The 10:0 a.m. cer emony was held at Howard University in the Andrew Rankin Memorial Chapel in Washington, D.C. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roosevelt Brown, of Leesburg, Georgia. The bride is a 1999 gradu ate of Lee County High School. She is a 2005 Cum Laude graduate of Howard University with a Degree in Journalism. She is employed with the Wall Street Journal National Newspaper as a news re porter. The groom is the son of Mr. Spencer Brown and Mrs. Sandra Brown, both of New York. Mr. Brown is a 1997 gradu ate of Holly Trinity High School in New York. He is a 2001 graduate of Lehigh Uni versity in Pennsylvania with a degree in Politics. Full Calendar at the Rylander Theatre Special to the Ledger The Rylander Theatre sched ule is full for the spring 2006. The theatre will present “Juke box Saturday Night’’ on Feb. 4 at 8 p.m. This performance is sponsored by the Americus Sumter County Arts Council. The March schedule begins with Miss S.A.R. on March 4 at 7 p.m., followed by Sumter Players production of “Guys and Dolls’’ March 9-12. On March 16 the Americus Sumter County Arts Council will sponsor the “Velveteen Rabbit Musical” for school children. Two area schools will benefit from this produc tion as they fill the theatre for this performance. “A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline” sponsored by the Americus Rotary Club is set for April 1 at 7:30 p.m. Geor gia Southwestern’s Centennial Celebration is on the calendar for April 7. And on April 9 Ken Double, world-class the atre organist will perform a 2 p.m. concert which will open with the Rylander Roxys. On April 13 as part of Geor gia Southwestern’s Springfest, the “Deluxe Vaudeville Or chestra” will perform. Then Georgia Southwestern will return the next week for the annual Shakespeare Festi val.
