Led by Jeremy McKinley, the team is made up of 20 students from the 4th and 5th grades. The team competed on March 1 in Perry, GA, in the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) State champion ship. Twin Oaks placed 3rd in the elementary division. Sam Rayment placed first overall in the elementary division and Landon Cheng placed ninth overall. Sam also placed second in the individual shoot off and Landon placed third in the individual shoot off. Submitted Photo Congratulations to Lee County Freshmen Jordyn Perkins and Alea Bochette for breaking three LCHS track and field records at recent track meets. Jordyn broke the 100 Meter Dash with a new record of 12.41, and at the same Smith and Benson Relays, she broke the 200 Meter with a new school record of 25.54. Alea broke the High Jump record with a new record of 5’2” at the TCC Invitational. Coach Payne and the other track coaches are proud of these girls and the entire track team for all their hard work.
