Team Agriculture
Georgia Free Workshop
Special to the Ledger
Team Agriculture
Georgia (TAG) is hav
ing a free workshop for
small, beginning, and
limited resource farmers
at the Tifton Campus
Conference Center on
May 2, 2019 , and they
are asking if we could

Team Agriculture
Georgia is the outreach
arm of USDA FSA,
NRCS, and Rural De
velopment. UGA CAES
and UGA Department
of Agriculture are
members of TAG. But
TAG hasn’t really had
an outward presence in
the last few years, and it
would not be surprising
if folks do not realize
they are members.
Thanks to a grant
from USDA RMA,
they are developing a
new website to share
resources and plan
ning three workshops
through March 2020.
This will be their first.
Information about
the workshop can be
