Kim is originally from Louisiana, however she has lived in Florida for most of her life. The Lord has recently called her family to Central Baptist Church in Albany. Her Husband has been a youth pastor for over 24 years and is now the lead pastor at Central Baptist. Doug and Kim have been mar ried for 25 years. They have two sons, Corey - age 23 and Caleb - age 19. Kim has served alongside her husband throughout the years. Before moving to Geor gia, Kim worked as an Assistant School Admin istrator at a foster home/ school in Green Cove Springs, FL. She loves people and loves the Lord with all her heart! Prayer meeting was held Thursday at the Leesburg Train Depot. Leesburg Baptist Church Interim Pastor Steven Kegley provided the opening prayer followed by Leesburg School Superintendent Dr. Jason Miller who prayed for the county education and presonnel and students. Leesburg City Coun cilman Bobby Wilson prayed for the City of Leesburg and its work ers. Leesburg United Methodist Preaher Lee Smith prayed for Lee County and Georgia County Sheriff Reggie Rachals prayed for Law Enforcment and Fire- Judge Jimmy Brown prayed for Judges and Court Officials. The prayed for the Nation and National Leaders. Belcher Named To SADD National Student Leadership Council Special to the Ledger Rhiannon Belcher, a Lee County High School junior and President of the LCHS SADD Club (Students Against Destruc tive Decisions) was named as a member of the SADD National Student Leadership Council. Rhiannon competed for this position along with more than 500 other high school SADD members from across the United States. She along with only five other stu dents were selected as members of the 2019- 2020 National Student Leadership Council. In addition, she will be called upon to repre sent SADD at various conferences and media events. Rhiannon will be gin her journey as a SADD SLC member at the 2019 SADD Na tional Conference on Youth Health & Safety in Phoenix, Arizona in June. Her term runs through the end of the SADD National Con ference in 2020.
