The Jim Fowler Experi ence, while early in the concept process, will include new animal exhibits and interactive media focused around his adventures and love of birds of prey. Che haw hopes that the Jim Fowler Experience will highlight and honor his 60 years spent blending education and entertain ment to inspire people to care about wildlife. His appearances on Johnny Carson, Mutual of Oma ha’s Wild Kingdom, the Today Show, and even Seinfeld, exposed global audiences to his passion of wildlife conservation. That enthusiasm was palpable. Chehaw hopes to infuse his passion into the Jim Fowler experi ence. Chehaw is cur rently working to finalize these concepts which will be made available to the public in the com ing months as they are complete. Fowler’s life long mes sage was that humans and animals are far more connected than just at the grocery store. Mul tiple attempts have been made over the years to honor Fowler’s contribu tion to Chehaw and the community. However, these attempts were never able to get off the ground due to a variety of reasons. “Chehaw is his crown ing achievement,” said Don Meeks, Executive Director. “What bet ter way to carry on his legacy than to continue to tell his story?” Meeks said that Chehaw has spoken with Fowler’s family for years about and Craft Market Safirday, June 12019 Lee County High School 7:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Give yoorclDsels and itdc a spiag cleaniDg lo make some smnrn Ain rnney, ■‘•’S a sites Space : with a for On 7 : OR c«mc shop for the imtetevabie bargains!
