EMS Responses EMS responded to three calls for abdominal pain/ problems. EMS responded to three calls for chest pain (non- traumatic). EMS responded to one call for choking. EMS responded to one call for convulsions/sei zure. EMS responded to two calls for diabetic prob lem. EMS responded to 11 calls for falls. EMS responded to four calls for fire standby. EMS responded to one call for heat/cold expo sure. EMS responded to one call for overdose/poison ing/ingestion. EMS responded to three calls for psychiatric problem/abnormal be havior/suicide attempt. EMS responded to nine calls for sick person. EMS responded to three calls for stroke/ CVA. EMS responded to four calls for traffic/transpor tation incidents. EMS responded to two calls for transfer/interfa cility/palliative care. EMS responded to one call for traumatic injury. EMS responded to three calls for unconscious/ fainting/near fainting. EMS responded to one call for unknown prob- lem/person down. EMS made 53 respons es for the week. Fire Responses Fire department re sponded to one structure fire. Fire department re sponded to two activated alarms. Fire department re sponded to five calls for MVC. Fire department re sponded to 30 calls to assist EMS. Fire department re sponded to one call for smoke complaint. Fire department responded to one no incident found call. Award recipients were judged on 24 qual ity indicator measures resulting from CAHPS Hospice surveys rating hospice care experiences during the evaluation period - October 2017 through September 2018. Performance scores were aggregated from all com pleted surveys and were compared on a question- by-question basis to a National Performance Score calculated from all partnering hos pices within HEALTH CAREfirst’s Hospice CAHPS database. Phoe be Hospice scored above the HEALTHCAREfirst National Performance Score on at least 20 of the evaluated questions. Phoebe Hospice proud ly serves 11 counties in southwest Georgia.
