Beverly began her career at the Albany, South Slappey Branch as a distribution clerk. Clark Appointed Associate Magistrate Greg Clark was sworn in as an Associate Mag istrate by Probate Judge Melanie Gahring. Clark is an associate magistrate for Lee County under Jim Thurman, Sr. Chief Magistrate. Greg Clark is a 1986 graduate of Lee County High School. In 1990, he received a degree in psychology from Mercer University. He went to St Thomas School of Law in Miami and graduat ed in 1993. Greg Clark worked five years at the District Attorney’s offic es in Albany and Tifton. He is associated with his firm, Custer Custer and Clark in Albany. Mr. Clark is the Friends of the NRA’s longest serving volunteer in Georgia and lives in the house in Lee Co that his dad built in the early 1980’s that he grew up in. supervisor. When the postal ser vice reorganized in 2012, she was assigned to the Moultrie Post Office. A supervisor position opened up at the Amer- icus post office in 2015, which she took to be closer to home. When a vacancy opened up in 2018 for the Leesburg Post Of fice, Beverly was asked to fill in temporarily. She accepted and has been there since. She looks forward to continuing to serve the fine people of Leesburg and Lee County. Beverly resides in Lee County with her hus band, Ralph Kincheloe. They are the parents of four daughters, Lac ey, Casey, Haley and Kayley. Brian Kemp announced that 59 Georgia communities will receive a total of $41 million in federal assistance to help grow their local economies. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) allocated the funding to Georgia’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, which is administered by the Georgia Depart ment of Community Affairs (DCA). “These communities understand the impor tance of how these funds can enhance and im prove the quality of life for residents across the state,” Gov. Kemp said. “When communities are revitalized, their citizens are as well. The CDBG program continues to elevate Georgia’s prom inence as a great place to live, work and raise a family.” The CDBG project is a sewer rehab project that will repair some of the oldest sewer main in the City of Leesburg. The project will include the rehabilitation of 4,100 linear feet of sewer main (12” & 8”) and replacement of 1,600 linear feet of 8”sewer main that is failing. The project will also rehab 92 sewer service laterals to individual residents’ homes. Finally, the project will take 18 fail ing septic tanks off line and place these homes on the City’s sewer system. The City of Leesburg was awarded a $750,000.00 grant.
