He is 8 years old and is in the 2nd grade at Lee County Primary School. He was hunting with Dom Bernardoni and Courtney Revell when he shot it. LCES Students and Staff Live to Give Lee County Elementa ry School faculty, staff, and families, and stu dents have come togeth er to demonstrate our connectedness through the common goal of raising money for the Leukemia and Lympho ma Society’s mission to cure cancer. Our donations to Pennies for Patients will help families of patients pay for medicines, doctors, and other expenses and also help fund research focused on finding a cure. Students are also applying the mindsets of We are Connected, Time is Now, Attitude of Gratitude, and Live to Give through this giving opportunity. LCES has selected Connor Paulson as our “honored hero”. Connor is currently in remission with Leukemia. Many students at LCES have joined the Pennies for Patients “hero squad” to support patients like Connor. The Pennies for Pa tients donation col lections will continue through Friday, Novem ber 22. “Together we change cancer!” Submitted Photos During Dazzling Dimes Day, LCES students were sparkly and shiny clothing and brought dimes for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
