Palmyra Fire Station Remodeled After several months of construction and renovations, the Palmyra Fire Station opened at 6:00 p.m. Monday, December 9th for operations. Renovations to the 32-year-old building included the additions of two new bays to accommodate larger ladder trucks, two more bedrooms, an additional bathroom, and new flooring. Renovations were completed using SPLOST funds. The grand opening of the newly renovated Palmyra Fire Station was held Tuesday, December 10th. Deer Corn & Deer Stands Full Line of Hardware And Building Materials Submitted Photo LCHS 9th Grade Campus Basic Ag classes were treated with a visit by a LCHS FFA student, Dani Stodghill. She showed her Swine SAE Project by bringing her pigs to campus in route to a show. Students formed a ring to give Dani a space to show off her hard work. She was able to walk a breeding gilt and a market barrow for them. She also answered questions that students had about both animals. Students were then allowed to tour the pig trailer to see how the animals are transported and cared for.
