Dear Lee County Citizens, It is with great honor and pleasure that I an nounce that I will seek another term as your County Commissioner of the Century District of Lee County, Georgia (District 4). In Decem ber of 2022,1 took office to fill the vacated seat by our former Commission er Mr. Rick Muggeridge and that term will expire at the end of 2024. Since being elected many great things have been accomplished in our community. We have been able to keep our taxes low and not raise those taxes on property owners. We also have been pro-busi ness and are bringing commercial growth and jobs into our communi ty. Many of those proj ects are ongoing now with completion dates in this coming year. We just took on one of the largest repaving projects ever in our county of 21.5 miles of roads to be resurfaced this year. This would not be possible without funds from TSPLOST and state grants such as LMIG. We also have a contract with Kinetic by Windstream to install fiber internet covering most of Lee County by the end of 2024 with an estimated 4700 households. Just open ing the door to homes and businesses to have cost-effective technolo gy is a game changer for long-term investment, education, jobs, and the overall health of Lee Chris Guarnieri County. Our County is one of the few in Georgia that are in very good financial standing, and we need to continue that going forward with controlled spending and investment in our com munity. We are a unique community and protect ing that long term is our goal. I humbly ask for your support, prayers, and vote in the upcom ing Primary in May and in the general election in November. Sincerely, Chris Guarnieri from Huntingdon Drive to Hedgerow Drive for resurfacing 0.25 of a mile. Muckalee Lane from Creekview Drive to Pineview Drive for re surfacing 0.20 of a mile. New York Road from Mossy Dell Road to Philema Road North for resurfacing and widen ing 3.75 miles. Pebble Ridge Drive from Hickory Grove Road to Longleaf Drive for resurfacing 0.70 of a mile.
