Her Memorial Mass will be at 1 PM on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church with burial of cremated remains to follow at Floral Memory Gardens. The Rev. Ray Levreault will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church begin ning at 12:30 PM. Mrs. Shemery was born in Fall River, MA, and has lived in the area for many years. She graduated from Albany High School in 1962. Mrs. Shemery was a member of St. Teresa’s Catholic Church. Mrs. Shemery directed the Flint River Girl Scout’s Day Camp in the 1970s. She enjoyed reading and stamp collecting. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ledea Dowling, her siblings, Bill Dowling, Allen Bowers, and Don na M. Dowling.
