Our school at this place is the pride o tin* entire community. It is in one seose a new-chool, haring been made by aconsoiidati in of the more remote j-ntron-* of Willis Singletary school with old Soring Hill school. Last July a commodious house was limit nt this place, near Singletary & Co.’* s*ore. The house is second to none in the county lining completely furnished with modern f irni ture pi tent desks, slated blackboards and everything needed for an up-to-date school. It is our intention to keep onr school in session for eight months it year. Oar teacher, Miss Julia Gibson, found it necessary a few days ago' to onll her patrons together and ask for more seats as all in the honse were filled. Au order for more desks was promptly made. These are expected to arrive soon and render every advantage for good work by each pupil in school. Miss (libton has enrolled fifty-eight bright girls and boys and has a regular attendance of fifty-six. Mrs. J. T. Thompson has returned from an extended visit to her daughter, Mrs. Groover, beyond Othlockonee Miss Beatrice Hay is visiting friends in Ohfockonee, Miss Goldie Sasser from Singletary School, spent Saturday and Sunday in our community visiting Miss Julia Gib The young people of tho community enjoyed some me sic at Mr. Rsmor Singletary’s Tuesday night.
