I When Miss Carrie Walden made
formal announcement of her res
ignation as principal of the Mary
I Ann Lipscomb Elementary School
I of Lucy Cobb, at the last P. T. A.

depression pervaded , the atmos-

knew what she had meant to her’
child and hated to give her up.
It seems but fitting, therefore,

A tribute to her Bible teaching
was paid recently, by a Sunday
school teacher, who said, “One
ennM always tell a Lucy Cobb
child in Sunday school.”
The very name of the school is
